EOG Resources Elects Charles R. Crisp to Board of Directors

EOG Resources, Inc. (EOG) announced today that Charles R. Crisp has been elected to its Board of Directors. Mr. Crisp has a long career in the energy industry and most recently was President and Chief Executive Officer of Coral Energy, LLC, the Shell Oil Company affiliate responsible for wholesale natural gas and power activities. He served in this position from 1999 until his retirement in November 2000, and was President and Chief Operating Officer from January 1998 through February 1999. Mr. Crisp joined Houston Industries in 1996 and became President of their domestic power generation group in 1997. From 1988 to 1996, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Tejas Gas Corporation.
