EOG Resources Contributes $1 Million for Hurricane Relief Efforts

EOG Resources, Inc. (EOG) and its employees have contributed approximately $1 million to assist victims of recent hurricanes, the company announced today. EOG's donations were given to Red Cross Hurricane Disaster Relief and The Salvation Army. Every $1 employee contribution was matched by a $3 donation from the company.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the people who are facing such unprecedented challenges from the recent storms, and we wanted to provide assistance to support the relief efforts," said Mark G. Papa, EOG Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "I am especially proud of how our employees have contributed financially to help affected communities and volunteered their time to help the victims of the storms, as well as donating clothing, shelter and other necessities."
